Chapter 3 - Changing Outlook

".....don't see why visiting a store to buy undergarments is important to women. I mean, when I was young, we wore the skins of the animals we killed for food and were perfectly comfortable without bras and pants, " the dark haired Valaya murmured as she walked down the sidewalks in the downtown area of Metrobay. Known to the general population of Metrobay as Valiant Woman, Valaya was originally a cavewoman back in the early days of mankind but wound up trapped inside a crystal for centuries until she was freed by archeologists. Although her aging had been virtually halted by the lengthy time in the crystal, Valaya felt uncomfortable in the trappings of the modern world and preferred the days when she was in her crime fighting costume and fighting the weird menaces that seemed to plague the Metrobay area. For today, however, Valaya was wearing a plain white blouse, black leather skirt with matching high heels and, at her companion's insistence, a frilly white set of lingerie underneath.

" That's panties, Valaya, and you to have to adjust to the world around you. Believe me, I know what you mean about being a little disconcerted but it's what society calls for. Wearing items sold at a place like Luscious Lingerie shows you are an free and independent woman and it also prevents your picture winding up in the tabloids under the caption " Crotch Baring Crimefighter!! ", Kelly replied soothingly as she tried to assuage the uneasiness of a woman who, in the guise of Ms. Metrobay, had first met Valaya many years earlier and took the woman under her wing in a maternal way.

Valaya chuckled softly at the image that cropped up in her mind. " Oh, I'm not looking to generate that kind of news. I just think that the notion that women have to wear outrageous underwear as part of a courting ritual is dumb. If I had my way, women would engage in matches of strength and agility with the mate they want, no matter who he or she is, " she muttered in reply with her last few words said with a bit of a playful tone to them.

Kelly blushed ever so slightly at her friend's comment even though she had heard similar type statements from her fellow crimefighter in the past. She contemplated getting into a little playful ribbing over what Valaya would wear for her type of contests but Kelly noticed they were nearing the Luscious Lingerie store and judging by the throng of people gather around the front, Luscious Lingerie had a provocative window display that was nearly famous as their stated ability to provide lingerie of all types to any women no matter what their size or shape. Considering the legend that she had the biggest breasts in all of Metrobay, Kelly appreciated the fact she had some place to buy her bras and other undergarments.

" Whoah...... " Kelly muttered out loud as she and Valaya finally saw the display that was causing the crowds. A red haired buxom living mannequin dressed in a sexy corset was currently posed bent over with her hands wrapped around a bed post and her head turned to face the sidewalk with a sultry look on it that seemed to indicate she was waiting for an unseen lover to take her from behind. On the right, a shorter model was posed in what looked to be a woman seeking to hitch a ride with her left hand balled into a fist with her thumb stuck in the air, her right hand resting on her hip and her face staring outwards for a car that would never arrive. Going by her attire consisting of a blue satin half bra and panty with clear high heels, this was one woman that would get attention anywhere.

" I don't know why but there's something oddly familiar about the women in this window. The one on the right looks a little like one of the youngsters in the junior heroines program and the other....hmmmm.....I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I'll ask Tina to come down after she returns from her business trip and see what she thinks, " Kelly thought to herself before her right elbow was tugged on by an impatient Valaya and the two headed into the store. If they had lingered for another thirty seconds or so, Kelly might have realized the window models were none other than Alpha Woman and Snowflake, fellow heroines programmed to serve as mindless mannequins during the day and perform other tasks when the store was closed. In fact, all of the store's living mannequins were "recruited" in a similar manner and the store manager was always on the lookout for new acquisitions.....




Inside Luscious Lingerie.................





Selina wasn't sure why she was in a lingerie store looking for something new to wear when her personal life was in disarray. The dark haired woman had moved to Metrobay about six months ago after graduating from college with honors but found out that the company that had promised to hire her had filed for bankruptcy protection on the same day she arrived in Metrobay. Consequently, she was for--d to take a low paying clerical position at a business nearby and her lifestyle was not nearly as high end as she had expected. With this in mind, Selina convinced herself that maybe a little personal shopping might improve her state of mind and attitude.

" I can certainly see people spending hundreds of dollars here in a single trip especially with the looks they have in this city, " Selina noted to herself as a full figured customer walked by her. One of the first things she noticed when she arrived in Metrobay was that most of the female residents seem to have above average sized breasts and considering Selina was a borderline B cup at best, she felt more than a little self conscious in her first forays into Metrobay's night clubs. With this in mind, Selina selected a black push-up bra and matching panties for her first purchases.

" Excuse me. Could you tell me where the change rooms are? " Selina asked a blonde haired woman working behind the sales counter for the store.

For a few moments, the sales associate stared at Selina and it almost felt to her like the employee was judging her for a beauty competition. " Go to the back of the store and enter the room with 1 marked above the door. If you have any problems, ask for help and me or any or the other staff will be more than happy to help, " Sandra replied in a cheerful manner towards the area in question.

Selina thought for a second about asking what the store policy for exchanges and returns but figured that kind of thing could wait until after she made up her mind on her selections. With that, Selina headed towards back of the store and the change room in question. As she did, Sandra depressed a button located under the service desk that would alert Mr. Hanley, the store manager, to the customer entering the change room.



Manager's Office..............




Hanley was pouring over the projected sales figures for a new line of teddies Luscious Lingerie was planning to carry when a flickering red light on the right side of his desk alerted him that a woman he might find interesting had entered a change room Hanley had personally overlooked a remodeling for. When the store manager originally received the APEX technology from the store owner, Hanley used it as part of the price scanners to hypnotize/roboticize women to work in the store. However, with the knowledge that the scanners might lead to unwanted attention from Metrobay authorities, Hanley arranged for some of the tech to be installed in one of the store's change rooms and looking at the security camera feed for the room Selina was entering, Hanley figured the physique of the woman was perfect for what he had in mind.

In the change room, Selina had closed the door and quickly removed her blouse and skirt and put them on a nearby chair. After putting on new panties, Selina faced the full length mirror that dominated one wall and deftly slipped on the bra to see how it looked on her figure. Even as she posed in front of the mirror for several seconds, Selina was unaware that a fake wall was silently coming down in front of the room's door on both sides and the change room indicator above it disappeared quietly as well.

" Hmmm, I have to say that this stuff looks even better on me than I imagined. I wonder if they....uhhhhh!! " Selina thought to herself before her thinking was interrupted by a bright green flash that emanated from the mirror and interrupted her thought process. As the dark haired woman stood with a blank look on her face and her arms hanging at her sides, a very soft clicking sound could be heard coming from behind the mirror that sounded like a microphone being turned on.

" You now exist to work for Luscious Lingerie and obey all orders from the store manager. When you are working, you will act and behave perfectly normal but highly efficient in all actions. After the store is closed for the night, you will go to your home as normal but if you are asked to stay behind, you will do so without hesitation. Is this understood? " a voice that was unmistakingly sounding like Hanley intoned from the mirror area.

" Yes. I work for Luscious Lingerie and will obey all orders of the manager. I will behave normal during work but will stay without hesitation, " Selina intoned in a robotic manner and repeated the words over and over. As she talked, an opening appeared to the left of her that appeared to lead into the back of the store.

" You will walk through the opening to your left, remove your garments and lie flat on the table for as long as the manager wishes, " Hanley intoned with perhaps a hint of excitement evident in his voice.

" I hear and I obey, " Selina replied before turning and walking to her left stiffly and somewhat mechanically in her movements. A minute or so later, a nude Selina was laying prone on the table with her eyes focused on the ceiling even as Hanley, with a somewhat anticipatory glint evident in his eyes, started his preparations. The store manager placed a silver helmet over the woman's head with the front edge noticeably obscuring her eyes and attached what looked to be large needles to the nipples on Selina's breasts before moving over to a set of computer monitors located on the far end of the room.

" I have to say, it was nice of the owner to allow me to experiment a little with select subjects that aren't high profile in the Metrobay area. I think when all is said and done, this young lady is going to have a new look on life, both physically and mentally, " Hanley thought to himself as he saw the preliminary stages of an increase in Selina's bust line. The APEX technology, combined with a few other elements Hanley had managed to "obtain" through third party sources, had allowed him to indulge his darker desires from time to time. Up until now, Hanley had used the machinery only to "improve" his single female neighbor who lived across the street from him. Kendra was a withdrawn and rather average looking woman prior to joining Hanley one night after the store had closed for a look behind the scenes. Afterwards, Kendra went out of her way to wear tight fitting clothing whenever she visited Hanley and, well, was no longer shy and withdrawn in MANY ways.

" Let's see what the name of the newest employee of Luscious Lingerie is, hmmm, Selina Xavier Toilles. Oh, I think, my dear, that I have a very appropriate name for you when you're not working on the floor. I think that....oh, what's this?? " Hanley mused to himself before his eye caught the unmistakable image of the heroine known Ms. Metrobay, in civilian attire, along with a female friend approaching the sales desk in the store.

" This is not a good time for this..... " Hanley muttered under his breath as he reached for the phone to contact the associates at the sales desk.
