Well, there is an EPLIOGUE coming. And I don't think the EVERYTHING is going to be all sunshine and rainbows... but that just may be me.

Post by the way, on a personal note
I was going over the forum and looking at my last posting and no doubt some of my other postings. I find my stream of thought does not translate on the page as well as I like.
I find repeated words and some unnessessary mis-spelling. I know that the last posting is to a large part due to rushing off a quick message before my first cup of coffee before I rush to work. I find it a bit off putting. I beg the patience and hope you don't let it devalue my input.

No need to apologize, Vestia! No one here is going to grade you on grammar or spelling. We are just happy to have you as part of the discussion!

Tell me it ain't so Doc and Fin. You guys are taking a break huh? Sad news for all us super heroine peril fans. You guys will be sorely missed. Don't stay gone too long. We are already missing Uroboros and Jpeger. Now you 2. This place won't be the same without you guys. Your work is unmatched by any I have seen anywhere. Thanks for the great comics.

Thanks for the kind words, Goon. That's nice of you to say. You are correct, Finister and I will both be taking some time off after "Superheroine Squad" ends to recharge our batteries and work on some unrelated projects. We started this current series in April 2007 and have been updating weekly since September, so it is definitely time for a much needed break.

I do have two small nuggets of good news though. First, the Epilogue that I had planned for this week became too long for just one update, so we split it in two. That means that January 27 is no longer the last issue of "Superheroine Squad", it will now be February 3. Bonus week!

Second, Finister and I will still be doing a single monthly issue while we are on 'vacation'. It will still be set in the Metrobay Universe with all of the characters and organizations that you know and love, but the stories will spotlight specific characters (some new, some familiar) and be more self-contained. This new series of one or two issue shorts will be called "Grime City Stories" and will debut sometime next month.

Stay tuned for more information as it develops. Any questions? You know where to find me!

Your feedback is awesome! Many writers and artists in this arena don't get any feedback - believe me, your input is very very much appreciated...misspelled or whatever... Doc and I love this feedback so much! Thanks Vestia!

Thanks for the kind words, Goon!

Doc is a demented genius - you all should be in on our chats. He's got a lot of fantastic ideas brewing.

Hipcomix has allowed us so much freedom to explore ideas and this community has been so incredible with feedback and suggestions which helped Doc and I to get hyped about each new project.

You gals and guys rock so much!

Yeah... we're going monthly for a while but the monthlies are gonna friggin rock :)

Goon, you rock man! Thanks for the feedback.

Think the HERbot gadgets would sell on Ebay? :P

I agree with what Finister said... especially the 'demented genius' part!

Seriously... it has been a blast writing these comics and working with an artist as great as Finister. His characters are so damn sexy and eye-popping that when he shows them off in other in other venues they immediately attract attention and reactions from complete strangers. In my mind that is the ultimate compliment.

Anyway, if you all could take a moment to check out Fin's forum here at HIPComix, he wrote up a nice little 'behind the scenes' post about some of the decisions he has made while creating and utilizing our characters. Since we plan on continuing these comics and we like give our heroines a little makeover from time to time it would be extremely helpful if you all could lend your critical eyes and answer a few of his questions. In the end it will only help us to improve the product and give you, the loyal Metrobay Universe reader, the best comics available for your hard-earned dollar.

Thanks in advance,

Post Members Area Update 1/27: "Superheroine Squad"
We are counting down to the end of the "Superheroine Squad" saga, and there are only TWO issues left until it is all over!

"But Doc..." you're all probably saying "Didn't you say that there were two issues left LAST week? What gives?"

Well, when putting together the final issue for the series we found that we had too many internal storylines to wrap up and didn't want to sacrifice any quality for the sake of quantity. So, we decided to split the "Epilogue" into two parts, one this week and the other on February 3. That means one more week of your favorite 3D adult comic before the whole thing is put to bed!

Anyway... for those of you who read last week's issue, you know what happened in the great battle between the Superheroine Squad and the H.E.R. Order. For those who haven't read it yet (and for Pete's sake, what are you waiting for?) I won't spoil it here, but these final two issues deal with the fallout from that battle as well as set up future Metrobay Universe storylines. Make no mistake, just because the story is wrapping up doesn't mean that there isn't still a taste of the elements like mind control, ASFR, heroine fantasy, and adult situations that you all have come to know and love in our stories. We may be nearing the finish line, but we're still moving along at full speed!

Good stuff...and one more to go! I am happy and sad about this! :P

BTW Doc, you never answered my questions from last week! I don't mean to be a nuisance about it, but I was curious if you have the time to answer them!

Two things:

1) Someone had suggested that you maybe do a "What If" issue depicting how things would have gone if the heroines hadn't won the day. I know I personally would love to see something like that! Any thoughts on whether that's a conceivable update down the road?

2) I remember a while back you showed us a preview image for a flashback chapter depicting some of the earliest heroines of the city having been captured by some mad scientist. I never saw anything more about this chapter...what happened? Is it a future project or did it get abandoned for whatever reason?

Anyway, great work to you both! And while I'm not exactly eagerly anticipating the final chapter because it represents the end (and also because it looks like all the hot mind control is over :P), I will be happy enough to read it when it arrives.

I look forward to future episodes!! This was such a well-done, ambitious project that I can't wait to see what you guys cook up next!

Sorry I missed this earlier, Madcap. I pride myself in answering all emails and messageboard posts, but somehow this one slipped by. My apologies. To answer your questions:

Finister and I have bounced around the idea of a "What If?" storyline a couple of times. That may be something that would fit in well with our current plans for various short stories for the next few months. I'll let you know if anything develops on that front.

The 'flashback' image that you mentioned came about as a result of some discussions we had last fall. We are thinking about an "Origin of the Superheroine Squad" series which would chronicle the first gathering of Metrobay's superheroines back in the late 1940s and early 1950s. That is an idea that we both have great interest in, it is just a matter of finding the time to get it done.

Thanks for the great questions, and for your continued support!

Sadly, we are counting down the days until the final issue of "Superheroine Squad" is published and the story is at last complete. You all may be wondering what will take place in this epilogue, and for now all I can say is that it will wrap up some dangling plot points while setting the stage for future Metrobay comics. Obviously I'll be able to discuss the story much more freely after Sunday, but I just wanted to give you all a little taste for now with this week's cover image:

Look for the full update on Sunday!

Hello Wasenshi... thanks for the note! I am glad that you have decided to join our little discussion, and that you are enjoying the comics. You are getting in just in the nick of time, but just because "Superheroine Squad" is ending doesn't mean that we don't have more stories to tell. Stay tuned!

Post Members Update 2/3: "Superheroine Squad" finale
Well, here it is. The final issue of "Superheroine Squad". When my esteemed colleague Finister Foul and I started this project ten months ago, we had no idea that our little story would become something this big and reach so many people. Now, over 500 pages later, we are ready to put a cap on this tale and call it a day. To those of you who have followed our work over the past year (and perhaps longer than that) all we can say is thank you for your patronage, your support, and your participation. We have received literally hundreds of emails, IMs, forums posts, and gallery comments and treasured each and every one. But now it is time to wrap things up and move on to our next project, which we will be announcing in the very near future.

Of course we aren't quite done yet! For those of you who have been with us all along, following every twist and turn in the "Superheroine Squad" saga, you won't want to miss this series finale. Not only does it tie up some loose ends, but it also opens new doors and sets the stage for the future of the Metrobay Universe. The best part is, even if you haven't yet seen a single page of this epic tale, it still is not too late to get in on the story. Because HIPComix keeps every single comic in its huge 14,000+ image archive, you can subscribe now and get the entire story at once. How great is that?

"Superheroine Squad" is written by Doctor Robo and illustrated by Finister foul in conjunction with Heroines In Peril Comix. Not only is this a great finale chapter, but it's STILL sexy as can be with a great story and great characters. Excellent references to previous Metrobay stories and a few like-minded fans. Great job! Fin, Doc, you two are my heroes!

This finale was awesome! Way to end this arc at full speed!
This chapter did solve a few mysteries, but it raised so many more! ... like a good episode of LOST. A few things were explained, such as details with Omega Woman, Alpha Woman and Ms. Metrobay, the nanosuits, Max's plan, etc.
But there were so many other questions raised? The story for another arc is firmly set up.... cheeky devils. And I'll gladly admit that Warden Smith made a very impressionable leap from nerdy prison keeper to voluptuous sexpot in just a few short scenes.
In the end, this series is AMAZING. GOLDEN. CLASSIC. You NEED to check it out. This arc introduced some amazing heroines (Jade Lightning and Omega Woman are standouts), some great mind control methods (H.E.R. ray, nanosuits), some awesome guest spots (Pink Pussycat), and the usual sharp wit and strong visuals.
Basically, I love this series to death! Great job! I just want MORE! MORE MORE! PLEASE!

Sorry I have been away. Great work, neat story and various twists and turns throughout. Lovely art and loads of potential future twists and turns.

As always, wishing for more.

I am going to miss the old Ted Twist...the new one is just to...well...good and not the evil genious we know and love...hopefully he is not fully reformed...or at least if he is I hope his mind control methods are needed in the future.

Great stuff and for all of you who haven't joined...what is stopping you?
