Post thanks!
Thanks, Brainhusk and Leto. I'm happy that you approve. Finister and I are definitely in a groove right now. Only six installments left, each more action packed than the last. Stay tuned!

I also plan on offering up a few more freebies next week, for those of you who are not yet members but are thinking of joining. Keep an eye out for them...

Post Members Area Update for 9/21: "Hostile Takeover"
Hello all... it's Thursday, which means it's time for "Twisted Tales"! I have posted the latest installment of "Hostile Takeover" in the members area of HIPComix. Happy reading!

Direct link: http://memberslogin.hipcomix.com/gallery/album176

Things don't look good for Dr. Twisted. The devilishly sexy scientist Belinda Giolla and her busty amazonian fembot Mechana have succeeded in infiltrating the doctor's secret laboratory and subduing him with some interesting and unique methods. They have already utilized Belinda's electronic disrupter to take control of one of Twisted's robogirls and are threatening to steal the rest. Should we applaud Belinda for taking care of a villain like Dr. Twisted, or is he really the lesser of two evils? What about Valient Grrl and Ms. Metrobay? They and the rest of the Superheroine Squad are frantically searching for a way into the lair, hoping to rescue their friends. Will they arrive before Belinda makes off with their enslaved comrades? Find out in part six of "Hostile Takeover"! Not a member of HIPComix? We have memberships starting as low as $5.99, so what are you waiting for? Sign up today!

"Hostile Takeover" is episode six of "Twisted Tales", copyright 2006 Doctor Robo and Finister Foul, all right reserved. For more information go to HIPComix.com. All comments and questions are welcome and appreciated, and are always answered.

Yes, it was very good.

We now officially have the beginnings of a Mexican standoff where everything is up for grabs. It almost reminds me of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, exzcept that everyone (except for Twisted cause he's a dude) is much better looking and no one gets killed (hopefully).

You know, I had never thought of that, but it's an apt comparison. Good call there. Too bad we didn't add a couple of digital tumbleweeds or have Valient Grrl chomping on a little cigar for the full effect.

As for anyone getting killed, I don't think I'm going to ruin any plotlines by telling you that you don't have to worry about that. I have many fetishes (as witnessed in my comics), but violence and snuff are most certainly not among them. As the saying goes: I'm a lover, not a fighter.

Hello.

I knew you wouldn't kill anyone, but I was worried a little about Mechana, although not too much.

The thing is, shows and stories with "bad" fembots that start as robots have an almost universal tendency to go out of their way to destroy them, often for no good reason except "just because." I like temproary deactivation scenes, but not permanent destruction. So I was a bit worried in the back of my mind about Mechana, since she was a robot. This is especially the case since a storyline at a much inferior site that I join occaisionally and often end up feeling like I didn't get my moneys worth (unlike Hipcomix where have ALWAYS felt I got my money's worth and because I like ALL the sotries) just finished up a story where the lead bad guy predictably destroys his andriod servant (who is an android only because we are told she's one) for no good reason and she then goes berzerk and destroys herself and the bad guy for no good reason but as a a sacrifice to a classic plot contrivance to end the series.

Killing off the 'evil' fembot isn't just offensive to my fetish; frankly its so predictable since poor old Elsa as Bride of Frankenstein and Metropolis that its a tired cliche (not those shows, which are great movies, but all the films that came afterward that used fembots and can't think up an original ending), imho.

Here here. I have never understood that myself. In my mind the female robot should be held up as a thing of beauty, not something worthless and expendable. Destroying her just for the sake of it is unnecessary and sad.

I think I speak for the entire HIPComix staff when I say that I am pleased that you feel you get your money's worth out of your subscription. I can think of no greater compliment, and I thank you for it. You have piqued my curiousity though. Which site are you referring to? If you don't want to say publicly feel free to email or message me in private.

Hello. Thanks for your words.

The other site was www.spacebabecentral.com. I just didn't know if you guys would have any issues with me mentioning other sites on your board. The story was Tshael Ranger or something, and the only reason we know the character is an android is because we are told so.

I can't speak for the rest of the HIPComix crew but it doesn't bother me. We actually have an 'other sites' forum on this board for just such discussions. I'm confident enough in the quality of the stories and art here to put it up against any other site that caters to this genre. I assume that our members agree or they wouldn't keep coming back for more.

Besides, you said you said the other site was inferior, right? Who am I to take issue with such an honest and educated statement?

Post Members Area Update 10/5: "Hostile Takeover"
Greetings once again... it's time for another edition of "Hostile Takeover", episode six of "Twisted Tales"! For those who are already members of HIPComix, here is a direct link to the gallery:

http://memberslogin.hipcomix.com/gallery/album176

If you are not a member, here are some freebies to help you decide:

Part seven of "Hostile Takeover" picks up with Mechana and Valient Grrl facing off to see who is the strongest woman in all of Metrobay. The tension is high because one wrong move might trigger an all-out brawl which could level an entire city block. As the adversaries stare each other down, a sinister figure lurks in the background looking to take advantage of the confusion and make his presence felt once again. Who will come out the victor? Will the Superheroine Squad succeed in bringing these villains to justice? Or will one of the evil scientists reign supreme, turning all enemies into obedient slaves? Find out in this week's installment of "Hostile Takeover", available at www.HIPComix.com!

"Twisted Tales" are written by Doctor Robo and illustrated by Finister Foul, copyright 2006 all rights reserved. For more information go to HIPComix.com or contact Doctor Robo directly. All comments and questions are welcome and appreciated, and are always answered.

Oh man, this story is getting fantastic as it rockets towards its ending! I must say, things are going in a direction that I didn't expect, and so far they're going even better than I'd hoped! I REALLY enjoyed the "Superman 3" moment, and with a MUCH more attractive victim this time around!

I only have one little thing I would have really liked to have seen in this latest issue (and I don't know if this should be said to you or Finister or both): it would have been GREAT to see Alpha Woman and Brown Sugar still standing there completely mindless and oblivious to all the action going on around them. It seemed a bit weird that they weren't in any of the images this go round, and hell, just having them standing in the background or off to the side would've been pretty hot, because it totally would have emphasized the degree of mindlessness and the total lack of control they have over themselves. Still though, I'm guessing there's a chance we'll see them next time around? Here's hoping!

Anyway, that one thing certainly doesn't detract from the story at all, but it's just something to think about! Thanks for kicking so much ass with this story, BOTH of you guys!

Thanks for the comments, Madcap. Believe me, I have thought a lot about what to do with Brown Sugar and Alpha Woman. Unfortunately the more characters that appear on any given page the more it taxes the rendering software. Finister has to jump through hoops just to get as many characters as he does onto the screen at once. I have already taken that into consideration, though. I can without a doubt promise that we'll see more of them (Alpha Woman specifically) in their mindless state as the action progresses toward its climax.

Post re: new episode is fantastic!
Nice reversal on the latest episode for Belinda!

Keeps us in suspense and very sexy.

I just hope that all the chicks can enjoy sex while nevertheless controlled in a properly robotized state by the end, as Marcybot did.

But whatever you do, Im sure we'll enjoy it. Thanks again to you both.

Well then allow me to put in a request to see more of Brown Sugar as well, because she's my favorite! :P

But I do totally appreciate your position on this...there are just so many characters I'm sure it's got to be hard to keep tabs on them all. I mean, the same thing happens in comic books during the middle of a big battle...you'll go for pages without seeing your favorite character (even in the background) and wonder what happened to them. But that's just kind of the nature of the beast!

Thanks Leto! I don't think it's letting too much out of the bag to state that one of my goals was to make sure that each of the main female characters was mind controlled at least once during the Twisted Tales run. Some even were enslaved on more than one occasion, much to my delight. My top priority was to make sure that nothing got repetitive. If that happened, you guys wouldn't have any reason to back for more, right? A lot of credit must go to Finister for his excellent imagination in coming up with new props and new robotization visuals. My compliments to the chef!
