Correct me if I’m wrong, but I detect a lot of shout outs in “Legend Hunters” # 22: Secrets.

First of all, a fugitive in an underground maze of caves falls and then finds a rin… rune, a rune that wants to be found, a rune to rule them all!!!

Meanwhile, a certain traitor believes the rune is in a safe place and is for a great surprise when she would come looking for his precioussss rune!

The thing I loved was to see Irina as a beautiful slave, even when them both are very battered, they still manage to look gorgeous in the steps of a evil dead overlord staircase. That’s what fantasy is about!

The best part is definitely the last two pages, not only Maya has Freiya’s armor, but she was on Arcadia? Could that be a younger Queen? Is this another Cross Over? (The first was the introduction of Red Lotus).
