Actually, the story occurs at night, and it's suppose to be very dark (the heroine gets her powers at night i believe). It was a challenge to make it 'feel' dark, and still provide enough light to see by. I should post a re~do with more standard lighting you think?

You can see the tranparancy of her costume better in the new lighting too. No wonder she operates at night and in the dark?

I usally use the same light pack for all the comic panels, and I play with the postwork. Try to apply a cold filter to the image, a good trick that works fine for me for night scenes, it's to use a Ambient light very dark and a frontal focal light over the main char of scene, if you see that the scene looks still dark, I oftenly add an intermediate fill light.

Just posted the last of my Intrepid Lady 1-2-3, the Heroine is suppose to be bruised up and a little bloody, which i contemplated doing in post render work.

I decided against it, since it would mean putting more time into the render than i can afford at the moment. Still, it's not a bad render.

For these effects I use the Wet & Wounded shaders, they are very good and easy to use for wet, bruised and wounded textures. I bought them in Renderosity.

I have victoria's wet look skin, though it's bothersome if the skin tone conflicts with what i want to use.

I usually do such things in post work poser.

Those skins look interestin, i'll have to wait for them to go on sale though before giving them any real honest effort to purchase. Stereotypical starving artist that i am, it's understandable?

Was feeling a little retro, so i went back and did a render for the old Poll comic series i worked on with Halo. I like the look of Gabriella in her Angelic battlewear.

Went back and finished the render for Nightstar 1 of 3 and posted it. It felt a little odd having 2 of 3 up but not 1 of 3.

Brutal allergies are making my life hell and keeping me indoors at the moment, so i indulged in a quick render. I like to make pretend comic mock ups now and then just cause they look neat. This cover is only planned for a 'one shot' at the moment, unless people speak up and indicate an interest in seeing more of the imaginary story i scripted out in my head for Hallie. No shortage of stuff floating around my hard drive waiting to be finished so no worries if you dont want to see the rest of the story. The last part of the night star 1-2-3 render should be ready for the next update.

I've reached the 'land mark' half way point of using 10megs of my assigned 20megs of space. I'm going to start removing stuff when i hit 15 megs, so if theres one you particularly like, you should save it before i knock it off the gallery.

If you havent been in my gallery for a while, it might be worth peeking in for a look.

...and got his blessings (i think?) to do some more renders of her, with a new set of powers. She sorta reminds me of Space Ghost, so i figure her powers could be space ghost-ish as an inspiration.

Someone should take a look at the guest galleries and clean them up.

Looks like some random galleries have started up, or some used for temp file sharing....

Leave it to jerks to abuse the system and ruin a good thing...

Things are getting busy for me, going on hiatus for a while. There wont be any new updates on my gallery till next year at the earliest. See you then if i feel the urge to render again.

Finding less time to render these days though i've tossed up some 'stuff' in my area recently.

Questions...

1) What was the space limit on the guest galleries? I believe it was around 20 megs or something like that. Am i close?

2) How can i tell how much space my gallery is currently using? I think i was close, but i cant be sure. I'd like to know ahead of time if i need to do space management for my gallery area.
