The warehouse exhaled its last breath of chemical fog through the ruptured doorway, tendrils of gray dissipating into Tokyo's humid night. Super San lay where she had fallen, her white bodysuit smeared with grease and concrete dust, the red circle on her chest rising and falling in shallow rhythm.

A sound emerged from her throat—low, guttural, almost amused. Her fingers curled against the cold floor, nails scraping concrete.

"So... the Mori Syndicate thinks gas can stop me."

She rose to her full height in a single fluid motion, spine straightening, shoulders squaring. The red circle caught a shaft of moonlight through the shattered roof, pulsing like a second heartbeat. She tested her weight on each leg, rotating her ankles, feeling blood surge back through her calves.

"I'll admit... that knockout was almost fun."

Her laughter echoed off corrugated steel, rich and unexpected. She stretched her arms overhead, interlacing fingers until her knuckles cracked. The bodysuit pulled tight across her abdomen, every contour of her trained body visible in the dimness. She touched her own cheek, then her neck, cataloging sensation returning.

"But playtime is over."

She strode toward the wreckage of the doorway, boots clicking against concrete. Her shadow stretched long behind her, then fragmented as she passed through moonbeams and darkness. "Their guns will not poison Tokyo's streets."
