Michelle turned her attention to the Mahar...standing ten feet away...holding his Skull Staff..looking at her in utter disbelief that his plan had been thwarted.

"You got questions to answer bonehead!" quipped Scorpion Woman as she approached the villain. " The Mahar answers to no one!" declared the skull masked villain. A cloud of smoke swirled around them. When it faded...Scorpion Woman was surprised to see that the Mahar and the Thugees had disappeared. " I don't know...but the fog is beginning to clear...we had better go" replied Scorpion Woman. Scorpion Girl nodded. Kate and Scorpion Woman looked at each other. Michelle realised what she had done."You gave up everything...You saved the city" said the Venomous Vixen. Kate watched as Scorpion Woman stepped away and vanished into the fog...as Ed and Billy escorted her to safety. Elsewhere, Trey and the Cyclops agents shook them out of their daze. "The cops and the FBI will be here soon...get what's left of the feminite
bomb core and get out of here!" said Trey. The Cyclops agents did as he ordered them...and escaped via a nearby alley.

Billy Kwan was coming to nearby. He raised his head and saw Black Tigress was still unconscious. Hearing the sounds of approaching sirens...Billy dragged the Ebony Wonder by her smooth round ankles...and hid her out of sight under a float..his action concealed by the slowly dissipating fog.

As Billy was taken away...he was glad that Black Tigress was hidden and safe.

His duplicitous role unknown, Trey made his way amongst the abandoned floats and debris from the battle. As he walked, he looked up and saw someone approaching through the fog. The figure stopped. As Trey got closer, he realised it was Michelle. She stood and looked at him. He looked at her. The two former lovers looked into each other's eyes...neither of them saying a word.

Trey felt shame and guilt. He looked away for a second. When he looked back...Michelle was gone. He looked around...but there was no sign of her. "Goodbye Amazon...I'm sorry" said Trey sadly as he turned around and walked away.
