In our last exciting episode, American Override's mission in the SolVerse took a disastrous turn.

Captured inside Doctor Vine's laboratory, Amber Waves watched helplessly as Vine dismantled the secrets behind her enhancements. The Neuro-Expropriator, her advanced lenses, and even her power belt were opened to Vine's scrutiny. Technology that had once made Amber one of Jake Eldritch's most valuable operatives now gave Doctor Vine everything she needed to understand, manipulate, and command her.... and Vine wasted no time putting that control to use.

After learning why Amber had crossed into her universe, Doctor Vine gave her a new mission: find Solstice Prime and bring her back to the laboratory. Still operating under Vine's control, Amber tracked down the woman she had originally been sent to find. But instead of approaching Solstice as a potential ally, she attacked.

The confrontation quickly became a battle between two enormously powerful women. Solstice Prime fought back, but Amber's enhanced abilities and relentless assault eventually overwhelmed her. Jake Eldritch's search to save Chase Monroe finally succeeded in locating Solstice. Just not in the way anyone intended.

Solstice Prime is now Amber's prisoner, and American Override is carrying her straight to Doctor Vine. What does Vine intend to do with Solstice Prime? Can Amber break free before she delivers Jake's only hope directly into enemy hands? And with the seven-day deadline still counting down, will anyone on Earth realize that the rescue mission has been hijacked?
