Screens around the ballroom flicker.
For three seconds TideMarked shipping manifests flash across every display.
Then the system reboots.
Gasps. Confusion. Panic.
They reach the exit — but Draavos blocks the doorway.
"Leaving so soon?" said Draavos, surrounded by armed guards.
Blaise steps forward.
"Your party’s over."
"“Oh no, Ms. Montoya. It’s just beginning.”
