In our last exciting episode, the war for control, of minds, bodies, and time itself, intensified.

At Knox Labs, the quiet hum of machines masked a storm of discovery. Trixi Wilson and Davina Pyckle uncovered deeper layers of Dr. Pyckle’s original research, specifically the “override protocol” that allowed American Override to break free from Alex Veritas’s influence. That same code, they realized, could be repurposed into a psychic *firewall*. A defense. A shield. A way to prevent Alex, or anyone like her, from ever hijacking a mind again.

But Alex isn’t waiting around to be countered. On Earth Prime, she tracked down her wayward “pets”, Elise Lavaux and Sunny Dae, and confronted the Covenant of the Veil with brutal clarity. The High Priestess, once the manipulator, now found herself cornered by someone who rewrites minds like code.

Meanwhile, a new alliance took shape in the shadows. Conviction and Danger Dame, now under Alex’s psychic control, were delivered to Copi LaPort at Club Indigo. Jake Eldritch played the role of middleman, but Copi remained wary. Even with their minds altered, old loyalties die hard… and Copi doesn’t trust anyone.

And chaos erupted in Springfield. A routine bank robbery spiraled into disaster when police intervened, and the masked criminal panicked. In a flash, Chase Monroe became the hostage. Taken to a hidden lair, her captor now debates whether to ransom her… or sell her to the highest bidder. Either way, her past as a heroine just became her greatest liability.

Meanwhile, back on Earth-2, Jennifer Vale and Kari Dawson’s bodies continued to drift out of sync with time. Desperate, The Sorority turned to someone unexpected: *their* version of Alex Veritas. But this world’s Alex never turned to villainy. She’s still a scientist. Still brilliant. Still a mystery. If anyone can stabilize them, it’s her, but time is running out.

Can Trixi and Davina complete the psychic firewall before Alex strikes again? Will Earth-2’s Alex save Jennifer and Kari, or is she already too late? And can Chase survive captivity without powers, allies, or time?
