In our last exciting episode, old secrets gave rise to new threats. Amely Knox, following coordinates supplied by Trixi, made a stunning discovery! The Override drones, Override Prime and American Override, hadn’t vanished. They were *taken*. Their new master? Davina Pyckle… elusive daughter of Dr. Richard Pyckle. Driven by unanswered questions about her father’s legacy, Davina for--d Knox to the bargaining table. Knox, ever the opportunist, agreed to talk… in exchange for the return of the drones.

Beneath the twisted vaults of the Springfield Underground, Sunny Dae and Elise Lavaux remained trapped in the Covenant of the Veil’s sick “gay conversion” therapy. Whatever fragments of individuality they once had were shattered, distorted, and reshaped for the Veil’s cause.

Back at Guardian HQ, Chase Monroe finally returned… though not as the Guardian the city remembers. Sonja, now fully active as AmeriGirl, welcomed her with open arms, only to deliver a terrifying discovery! A massive meteor is hurtling toward Earth. But AmeriGirl’s powers don’t extend into space, and Chase… no longer has hers. Still, she pledged to stay. If she can’t fight on the frontlines, she’ll serve in tech support. Guiding, advising, and rebuilding from within.

Far from city lights, Jennifer Vale and Keri Dawson watched Jessamy’s alien ship vanish in a flash of light. The readings they recorded are all that remain. Shaken but determined, they left the cave, hoping their data is enough to convince Rebecca Pierce that their worth to the program was enough to keep their jobs.

And that evening, Aurore Jackson, AKA Conviction, returned to Club Indigo for her final interview. She danced. She performed. She played her part. But Copi LaPort, the club’s enigmatic manager, had eyes elsewhere. Samantha, AKA Danger Dame, caught his attention. And as Aurore watches from the pole, she realizes the real mission might now depend on Samantha keeping her cool.
