In our last exciting episode, the lines between ally and enemy began to blur. Trixi Wilson, now lead scientist at Knox Labs, clashed with Amely Knox herself. Their uneasy alliance fractured as Knox accused Trixi of veering off-mission, prioritizing study of the EVO imposter over the breakthroughs she promised. Sonja’s abduction remains a sore spot. Knox wants results. Trixi wants control. The lab feels colder than ever.

Meanwhile, in the darkest corners of University City, Conviction and Danger Dame broke into to Maya Whitaker’s office. Accountant for those that need a more crafty account. Danger Dame was ready for fists and broken glass, but Conviction went straight for the data. What they uncovered points to Club Indigo… a new target, and possibly the next piece of the puzzle.

Maya Whitaker, the underworld’s accountant, reported the break-in to one of Abigail Hawthorne’s underbosses, Nina Patel, CEO of Genticore Biotech. But Nina didn’t send soldiers. She sent surveillance. The Iron Scorpion is now watching Conviction and Danger Dame… waiting to strike when the timing suits her.

In Springfield, Elsie stepped deeper into enemy territory, taken straight into the Covenant of the Veil, and into the presence of her former lover, Sunny. Reunited under twisted pretenses, the two now stand at opposite ends of a mind war neither fully understands, and a conversion neither of them desire.

At the Temple of Aten, Chase Monroe’s patience finally snapped. She demanded the return of her Guardian Crystal, desperate to help her friends. Stormdragon warned her: to live as a Guardian is to live apart—immortal, unattached, and burdened. Chase didn’t care. She chose connection over prophecy. But Stormdragon held firm. If Chase is going back to fight, it will be without her crystal.

Will Conviction and Danger Dame reveal their plans to destroy Abigail Hawthorne via the Iron Scorpion’s surveillance? Can Trixi maintain control of Knox Labs while she carries out her own agenda? And what will happen now that Elsie and Sunny are in the same room again… on opposite sides…. sharing the same fate????
