And in a quiet fast-food restaurant, Elise Lavaux—still operating under Alex’s psychological leash—followed a lead to the last place Sunny Dae was seen: Cluck U. The server remembered her. Too well. With a smile, she offered Elise a coffee. The same drink Sunny was given... just before she vanished.
