So in addition to your regularly scheduled episode, it’s my pleasure to present the entire story of the origin of Charli Camp! Let’s rewind the clocks back a year to 2020.

Charli Camp. University city university freshman. Fresh off the cusp of her 19th birthday. The City had been without Superheroines for a few months. Not just Ladyfire, Electron, and the slew of other heroines Charli grew up reading about, but the newest ones, The Sorority. With those heroes seemly vanished and rumors that Stern Industries had something to do with it, the city fell into turmoil. The streets were no longer safe now that the skies went unprotected.


Charli stayed out of harm’s way, just school and home. Not many friends, no parties. Just learn learn learn. In her downtime, it was detective novels. She was always reading them. She took particular interest in the sidekicks. Watson to Sherlock, Bess to Nancy Drew, Kato to the Green hornet, Natalie to Monk, Diana to Chase, etc. etc.. She knew it was the sidekick that, more often than not, was the one that brought the glory to the hero. She wanted to be that Sidekick. She *will* become a sidekick.
