Long-time no see. Since July to be exact. For those wondering, I woke up one morning and couldn’t move my left leg. Then I tried to roll over and figured out why I shouldn’t. I was having intense back and knee pain and had no idea why. I called for help and managed to get to a walk-in clinic where I was initially completely misdiagnosed and send home with the wrong treatment. To make the story short, the past three months I’ve been recovering from a torn meniscus in my knee, and somehow when I did that I did something to my sciatic nerve as well. I’m 52, so I’m assuming it happened with a sneeze, a cough, or maybe even a fart… as I can think of no logical reason why I woke up with these issues, it must be one of the aforementioned trios of culprits.

Over the next couple of months, I was in terrible pain and could not work at all. Even sitting at a desk to try to render caused me massive pain. Most of my time was spent in bed, and just trying to not hurt. About three weeks ago I was finally able to sit at my desk and start working again. However, I was nervous about overdoing it so I took it slow and decided not to start posting until I had several issues completed. I didn’t want to get back into rotation and then fall back out because I was trying to force myself and end up irritating it.

But… Enough about my bullshit whining, the most important news is I am better, and I have something to share with the class today. Fortunately, right before my downtime, I was approached to work with a writer that I thought had some very good ideas for these characters.

Initially, I was going to end this Sorority series with episode 13.5, however, the writer I’m speaking of presented me with a fantastic story for Aurore as a stand-alone series. So I asked him to write a bridge story to set that in motion.

He did not disappoint.

Today it is my pleasure to introduce to you a very gifted writer who wishes to remain anonymous, and who will be helping me with the new comic “Conviction”, The Sorority, and even SpiderGwen. As he wishes to be anonymous, so that is what we will call him (or anon for short).

So episode 14 which is posting right now was a complete surprise for me. It involves the four women captured by Jake and a little game of “Who’s Next” for the others! It’s great, it’s long, and it’s perfect for those who waited… Which, I feel really bad about. I received a lot of nice “get well soon” messages where I thought I was going to get “Get your ass back to work, jerk” messages. Thank you for being patient. I will make up for it this winter.

Cary, Toni, Bryony, and Aurore are Jake’s captives in sub-level five. What devious plans does Jake have for our heroines? Will Jake ever discover that Bryony isn’t a Sorority heroine? Will Toni recover from another capture and torture session, or will this finally be the one that pushes her over the edge? Will Aurore escape and rescue the girls, or will the sorority girls escape and rescue her? Will any of them escape? The answer to these and many new questions will be answered today as I am proud to present the final (for real this time) episode of the Sorority: Chase against Time!
