Tonight, the finale of Chase Monroe as the Gymnast. The finale of "Death of the Detective"

I'd like to take a second and thank everybody for reading this comic. Especially those who have done so since the beginning. This is been a labor of my love since it's inception in 2003. Chase was my first character, and without her, I don't believe Hipcomix would be around today.

I want to move on to other things, and her hanging in the background was nagging at me. I needed to close this chapter. Full circle I think. I think the story had some humor, some horror, some light moments, and some dark moments. Hopefully, in encapsulated everything that you as the reader was looking for in a gymnast comic.

Just because I'm finishing with her does not mean this is the end. This is just a means to branch out into newer and more enticing projects. Projects that I hope you will enjoy reading as much as I will enjoy putting them together. Chase was my first love, but sometimes our first love is best left as a memory.
