**BREAKING NEWS****

UNIVERSITY CITY - Police in University City are scrambling to locate and re-apprehend the notorious Dr. Stern. It's been nine years since Dr. Stern has been sentenced to life without possibility of parole to the University City Penitentiary. Stern's crimes include the kidnapping and torture of Olympic hopeful, Chase Monroe, as well as her roommate, Diana Casey Warner. He was also charged with kidnapping and torture of Dr. Susan Murphy, a professor at the University City University. Dr. Stern had attempted to extort the plans for the magnetic drive that Dr. Murphy had planned to give to the city for free. Stern's intention was sell the technology to the city for millions.

Stern claims that his plans were thwarted by Miss Monroe, claiming she had superpowers. Further investigation proved that Miss Monroe had no super ability, but the claim itself manage to get her removed from the 2004 Olympic gymnastic team. Other super humanoids began to surface around that same time, so the general consensus is that Dr. Stern confused her for one of the other super humanoids.

Acting commander, detective Daniel "Quinn" Tenquin offered no comment other than a promise that Stern would be returned to his rightful place behind bars very shortly.
