George W. Bush has appointed a person to lead the federal responce to pornography and 'violence against women' in general. Her name is Mary Beth Buchanan, formerly the United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Her credentials belay her position as a professional lawyer with zero toleration for what she considers anti-social behavior. She was directly involved in prosecuting Tommy Chong for selling smoking accessories (OK, so he was selling bongs...). But she wasted $12 million in taxpayer's money prosecuting 55 individuals over things like this.
