Something else that might help to attract members... I don't think I am going out on a limb to say that each of our artists has some sort of fanbase or following that enjoys his work in particular. This is not to say that these people do not like other artists or the site as a whole, btu for whatever reason sometimes you find a favorite and stick with him. My point is, it might help to promote on the splash page who is scheduled in the next few days to couple of weeks in addition to who the most recent uipdates are from. That way a potential customer who is only looking for one particular artist or story will know exactly when to come and get it.

That's a good point. I don't think that a full-fledged 'schedule' would be a good idea but a 'now playing/coming soon' splash on the main page might do the trick.
