Teen Justice Issue #15 continues with its deconstructive attempt on a superhero story. One thing that always intrigued me was that when seeing superheroes teams, the heros always get along well and the villains always were treacherous. You could say: It’s because ones are the good guys and the others the bad guys. Simple enough.

But then came Justice League and we see how even Superman and Martian Manhunter could be viewed as smug supers, so different from the rest of humanity. And the villains were taking seminars with “trust exercises” (that thing where you left you fall and others are supposed to catch you).

The whole point is, they were acting as real people. Here we have a girl that has enormous power and treats other superhero like a “nerd”. Then goes into giving his origin story, conscious or not, it doesn’t matter, SHE wants to talk about that and SHE will.

I believe the Britain speech (bollocks!) it´s to imply “regal” attitude, really a bully who thinks very high on herself… this deconstruction rules!
