Then canisters rolled from shadowed corners she hadn't observed...six, eight, a dozen...small metal cylinders , their release pins already pulled. They hissed before she could react, vomiting yellow-green clouds that hugged the floor, climbing her boots, caressing her calves through the bodysuit's thin fabric.
Super San staggered. The chemical smell hit her like a physical blow, something engineered specifically for her physiology, for the cellular machinery that granted her strength. Her fists loosened. The warehouse tilted, it's fluorescent tubes becoming streaks of sickly light.
