The air in the chamber hung heavy, thick with the metallic tang of ozone and something more… organic, a scent that prickled at the back of Sister Calipsa Lux’s throat. Her head throbbed, a dull ache that resonated with the faint hum of unseen machinery. She blinked, her vision blurring...
After a brief recovering she looked around revealing the rough-metallic walls of her prison. Her wrists were bound by shimmering energy cuffs that pulsed with a faint, blue light, anchoring her to a cold, iron metal rack. She tested them, a futile tug, and a jolt of static electricity warned her against further attempts!
