Larra awoke once more, this time considerably better rested than before, to find Adimari sitting by her cot. “So, signora, are you feeling better?”
“Much better,” Larra replied, “thanks to you.”
“Excellent,” Adimari smiled. “Now, I do not wish to tire you, but can you tell me what this is?” He held a book bound in black leather.
