a series of projectiles were fired into the air....from a building overlooking the ceremony outside of City Hall.
The people in front of the stage...police officers...dignitaries... members of the press and ordinary citizens ran in
different directions as at least a dozen more projectiles hit the street and the pavement in front of City Hall...
where they were either standing or sitting...quickly engulfing the area in thick clouds of the pungent yellow smoke.
