After a couple of summer Blunder Woman's updates... the valiant L'Espion's Tomb Hunter, Larra Court is BACK!
His eyes swept over her, taking in her dishevelled and battered appearance as well as the generous amount of cleavage she was displaying. It was obvious that in spite of the dirt and her torn clothing he still found her very attractive.
Larra gasped in relief as her bonds were cut and then winced as blood pounded back into her wrists and hands. Her fingers were so swollen that she couldn’t bend them and the pain of returning circulation was agonizing.
“Thank you, Capitano,” she said. “But I should not have suffered such treatment in the first place. This thug and his men assaulted me and the members of my expedition and took us prisoner. I assume this was on your orders.”
The captain seemed taken aback by Larra’s anger. He had supposed from her beaten appearance that she would be completely cowed. But far from it. She spat out her words like bullets and was clearly furious.
