Dear Mitru:

This is one of the most creative issues I have seen. It’s really a shame you coldn’t foreshadow this development: The AI nanities taking charge from Roland and menacing Dr. Vilroy!

This is a great development, and I think Dr. Vilroy will not fall in this scheme so easily, so I am anxious to see how this will develop.

That's Max's merit... I liked the idea when I read the script the first time and I thought same as you.

Thanks!

As I have said before, I wish we had time to have produced more chapters. The few bits of foreshadowing we did manage to include were not overt enough.

But the fact that Doctor Metz was willing to risk what little of his life was left to inform Doctor Viroy was a pretty big road sign in the story. If he feared what might happen with his failed attempt to utilize the nanites to save Roland, that should have been a good indication that something of this level could happen.

Much of this comes from my memory of the 1970 motion picture Colossus: The Forbin Project and the three novels the movie was based on. There's rumors of a remake by Ron Howard.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the ending I'm currently editing at the moment. And we may have some more surprises for you as well!
