An hour has passed since the fall of Tower 69 and the other key targets Juno selected for her forces to overwhelm and secure. Now we find her in the last place we would ever expect her: her old office at Sentech!

What does she have in mind now? Is she so brazen as to hope?

Dear Max and Mitru:

Scar City Chronices # 44 seems like the action is rushed! After seeing Roland winning every turn, is very disapointing to see how easily he is overpowered... so, with Mertz dead (or so it seems) everything has gone to heck.

I think maybe the good doctor is interested in our emo kid? After what happened to his father, he seems to be taking the situation extremely well...

Just a question... do you want to end this story at the 50th issue?

A couple of answers. At least as much as we can reveal without blowing the ending.

Mitru has put in a ton of effort on producing an average of 17 pages per chapter. At some point, every story has to come to an end. There are other projects that have been on hold due to the amount of hard work required to produce this artwork.

As for the perception of a rushed ending, the transition to the last act has begun. But the last act is going to have a twist or two that we've been wanting to do for a long time. Don't let the appearance of the next few chapters fool you. There's a major confrontation coming. And Whiplash is going to have a hell of a time!

More than that I can't reveal without blowing the plot wide open. This is the calm before the storm. The biggest threat looms just up ahead.
