Dear Max and Mitru: I loved scar city # 48, Declaration of Hate, and even when the art has the high standards you have accustomed us to expect, I still had a little… did I dare say… complain? Well, I only want to say this and maybe sounds confrontational, but I mean it in a constructive way… it’s about Asphyx characterization… I mean, in all last issues, Asphyx has been sure of herself, winning and coming on top, she also has been ruthless and stoic, some that was explained by your bio as being a result of her brainwashing… she even defeated and send to slavery her own mother figure… But in this story, she is seen as… well, as human… someone with fears and doubts (something completely understable from someone in her position with a really mad boss and all the enemies she and Roland had made). That is completely understable, if not because it seems to contradict his character until now… could you explain me why the change, please? Thanks! |
