For the moment, we'll leave Axphyx and Belinda alone. But the action never stops in Scar City! Yin and Ricochet are on their way! But to where and for what purpose? Dear Max and Mitru: And so, we left the thought provoking storyline to get into awe inspiring art! It’s so great to see Ricochet in her motorcycle, with the effects showing the movement at page 3. The poor mooks are so well draw that is a shame to see them die. Then again, when I remember the Death Squad that took care of the dollies, it’s very difficult to feel empathy for them. I see that Mitru follows the comic tradition of coolness before function: Is that a latex uniform for Yin? And it has a Yin – yang symbol in it? I can understand she wants to conceal her identity, but why the Latex Mask? Is not… umconfortable? (Unless she is into that kind of thing, really). Page 7 is hilarious, the scene is grim per se, but the point of view is obviously so that we can see the heroine’s asses. Not that I am complaining! Page 8 to 12 are so sad: Those mooks were hired to die and they know it. Hope they have insurance. Now that I think about this: Roland knows everything that happens in his domains: He is hyperconnected. However the guy at page 15 is, there could be no coincidence: Roland wanted him to be “rescued”, didn’t he? I can’t wait to see next issue! |

You pose a number of interesting points. I don't want to hand out too many 'spoilers' about what is in store for the good guys or what Roland and his nano supercomputer are going to do. One thing I will give you is this. Consider that Roland isn't as much in command of the situation as you might think. Think about why Doctor Metz was so adamant that Juno be the one to end this conflict (way down the road, of course). In the upcoming weeks, you'll begin to see what I'm getting at. But the takeaway point here is that Roland isn't omnipotent or all seeing. He's still human. His ego is the driving force and he'll trip over it at the worst possible moment. But more on that when we get there. Mitru is having some problems with his computer this week, so he'll get to your complements about the outstanding artwork he produced for this and the next chapter. Can't wait until next Friday! |

Thanks for your comments Hector, I ever try to do my best and Max's script work makes everything more easy. I've got some heat problems with my graphic card, we got a heat wave here (around 40ºC) and I've bought a new NOX Hummer Tower for my computer. The hang ons and blank screens have delayed me a bit in Green Ice project. But it'll see the light soon, probably around mid May-Mid June. Scar City Chrocicles updates are guaranteed, we (Max and me) ever have some work done in advance. And I get my new computer tower tomorrow, it'll take some time to move everything to the new box but I'll be on the road again in two days. I'm going to try to do Scar Cith Chapter 28 today, if the heat respects me. |
