Dear Mitru and Max Hass: Congratulations for your new story. I have only seen the first four covers, but I hope it will be great! However, apart from your youtube’s teaser, there is absolutely no info about this series, so I would like to share my opinion with you about what this series is about… Well, first of all, this is only mi imagination at work, so, after I have read “League of Liberty: Vanishing Act”, a comic by Akonkid and the Collector that has a little influence in my guess: The first cover show us a superheroine (I think) and behind her something like a hologram of a city, and also of a woman. The second, show us a man in a suit almost kissing a tall woman, and behind them, a lot of screens that show different scenes. Chapter two is even more interesting: the same suit guy, but with a pale woman who has purple hair, are looking at… something? Like an hologram of someone? It reminds me of The Matrix. The last cover, “Doing the right thing” show us a blonde who seems to have scientific knowledge and the same strange hologram behind her. So, I think (hope) that this graphic novel has something to do with virtual reality. And from your youtube’s teaser, I see that the man in the suit has a mask that remembers me of the Phantom of the Opera. So I think he is a villain. Maybe he is planning to “digitalize” all the city in his computer, and is working into digitalizing the human beings. About this, I think is the ultimate trap: Digitalize some people and they are your eternal prisoners in your own computer. You can interact with them in a virtual environment and they will become your toys. Menace them with not letting them go and you had them as your slaves. Possibilities are infinite. Well, this is only a wild guess. Please talk us about this graphic novel (but if you prefer to wait until is done, it’s ok) and show me how wrong I am. I really need to shut up now because I am talking a little to much like a deranged supervillain. Congratulations for both of you for the new story Hector. |

Thanks for your comment Hector! I'm sorry but the series background is very much simpler, a megalomaniac villain and a group of heroines who fight him and his minions, in the basis. I've only set the basic background and design of some of the story's chars. The rest is all Max's work, and I've to say that what I've read until now is really good. I don't know nothing about future plots or turns in the story, I leave all this stuff in the hands of Max, he's the writer. But perhaps if he reads this post, he likes your idea and we can see some of that VR Stuff in future updates of the chronicles. This time I only do the drawings, and I love it! ![]() If you have more question about the series is better you talk with Max, I'm sure that he'll be glad to answer any question about his story. Thanks again, and we wish you enjoy the first chatper at the next wednesday |

From Hector:
You never know about this idea. It could very well become a part of one story arc in a future installment. For now, let us introduce our rather large cast of heroes and villains. Given that this new project is a weekly release, that will happen in short order! Thanks for your input! And hang on. Wednesday will be an exciting day for Mitru's fans! He's come up with a wild cast of folks for me to write about. |

Dear Mitru and Max Hass: Thanks for your soon answer! It was only a wild guess, based on the covers. But at least I think that the evil megalomaniac guy is the guy with the phantom of the opera mask and suit, isn't he? I am anxious to see the first issue, will be this wednesday? Hector |

Mitru is being far too modest! His artwork is inspiring! I'm having a fantastic time scripting this project. Wish I could show more previews now, but that would spoil your enjoyment of the graphic novel we've labored hard over. As Mitru said, this Wednesday is the debut of Scar City Chronicles. It will be a weekly project like Mega*Girl. So you won't have to wait forever to see what happens next. But don't despair if you want to see Mitru's other projects. I've made sure he keeps on producing his solo work so you won't be missing what he has in store for you as well. Those future installments will be scheduled on Wednesdays to give us a break. So keep reading and thanks for your support! We have the best fans in the business. |
