We begin Chapter Two with a new character. An unnamed individual with a very powerful family reputation to live up to. His interest turns to Africa and the Lake Victoria Virus, which still pops up in parts of the continent. Given resources beyond imagining, this brave soul makes it his mission to track down every last carrier of the virus.

That is, until he meets Lady Penelope Ann Cadman.
