Post subject:  Introducing...the CRYPTOPEDIA!!!
Hi HIP Comix readers! It's been my goal all along to develop a fully fleshed out comic book universe, like Metrobay or like the Platinum Earth. As the Victory City saga proceeds, and as (I hope) new readers come on board, a reference guide might be helpful, and fun as well.
As of today, the Cryptopedia only has one page, for BC's Ocelot Woman. However, I will soon add many new entries for all of the various Crypticverse characters, each with original artwork depicting the character, as well articles on the various important locations, organizations, and objects that make up the Crypticverse. Nice job Mr Cryptic. I like seeing Ocelot Woman profiled like that and like Mitru, I think it would be good to see your other characters profiled like that.

Hope that Victory City continues to be an exciting place to visit.

Thanks! The text for Ocelot Woman is all adapted from the blurb that BC gave to Timo. I just moved some things around.

I thought that a stat block would be fun to include, even though it's hard to make it really accurate. "Domination" represents the character's ability to control others, either through mind control, or through just ordinary charisma. Ocelot Woman's Domination stat is high because of her lasso.

Also, the stats are supposed to represent the character's abilities by themselves with only the equipment they carry. So Ocelot Woman's Oce-Jet is not included in her Speed stat, only her running ability. I figure an Olympian runner would have a Speed of about 3. I figure she can run faster than the fastest normal human, but not as fast as a sports car. Does that sound right, BC?

Hi all - I have added a major entry to the Cryptopedia: the Crypticverse's most powerful hero, ISHTAR!

Ishtar hasn't been very prominent in the Victory City series yet, but she'll be center stage in the next few updates. If you want to get an inside scoop on her powers and background, check her out in the Cryptopedia!
