Hehe! Another day of silent bliss. I've read the comic for a fifth straight time in 4 months, loving every page. But I always wanted to know...what ever happened to the first several Acts? |

Just to provide some clarification for you. Sir Willoughby, like all the creative staff at HIP, produce their works on a part-time basis. This is not their day job. Periodically many of the artists take some time off to deal with their real-life issues. We have always attempted to encourage a regular schedule for updates, but it is entirely up to the creators as to when they will post their material. I am aware that Sir Willoughby has been facing some very important personal matters and it might be some time before he returns to his TALES OF THE PLATINUM EARTH series. I know that we all wish him well, and hope that he will be able to continue this epic as soon as possible. The other matter you mentioned, the initial acts of the TALES OF THE PLATINUM EARTH series have always resided in our free ARTIST PREVIEW GALLERIES. sorry, but it's only been a short time, we haven't heard anything from sir willoughby so far. as soon as we do, i promise that we will post an announcement here in the forum. in the meantime we're keeping this forum topic alive in case he visits. we all miss his contributions. thanks for asking about him. timo |

Archiving the older stories is just to clear up some available space on the servers. we've still not heard from sir willoughby. the door is still open, the candle remains in the window. we'll announce his return as soon as we hear about it. in the meantime one of our most popular artists is getting ready to return this week. creators come and go as they see fit...hipcomix.com is one place where creator-owned properties can grow and find readership...obviously artists think that it's a pretty good deal for them, that's why they keep coming back to us. and we all appreciate your support, so hang in there. timo |
