March 1st, Chapter One

Hey,

The third volume of my Swashbuckling Bound tales starts today in the Member's Gallery. The opening chapters of this volume act as a kind of prequel to the previous collections. We've met The New Recruit to France's musketeers and we've seen the chaotic path taken by The Spanish Ruby before it finally reached the Queen Mother's lady-in-waiting. Now we trace the ruby's origins back to Spain and meet the young couple whose lives will be forever changed by the events to come.

Hey,

The cruel governess has arranged poor Rosa's marriage to the young king of France. Now she must prepare her charge for a life of submission and obedience. Boy meets Girl. Boy loves Girl. Girl loves Boy. Girl must accept a politial union with the ruler of a foreign state. Boy runs away to the sea and, through a series of unlikely coincidences, learns of Girl's fate. Boy rushes to reclaim Girl's love. This age-old tale of romance and restraint concludes in the member's area today.
