Hello, Deep below Cardinal Renard's palace, Danielle de Gascogne suffers under Christina's cruel whip. The Musketeers' new recruit still doesn't understand why she is being punished, but all will soon be made clear. Will Christina get her hands on the Spanish Ruby? Will Danielle escape to fulfil her childhood dreams? It's been a real pleasure for me to bring you this series and I want to, once again, thank Timo and Jpeger for the opportunity to share the story. It's been a departure from the usual costumed superheroine settings of HIPComix, but hopefully you have enjoyed the ride. I'll be bringing you something more contemporary in my next few updates (look out for the debuts of Raven and Guardian Girl), but the next volume of Swashbuckling Bound is on its way. Now would be the perfect time to tell me what you have enjoyed or what you would like to see different. More swordplay? Less humour? More bondage? Less clothing? All comments are welcome. One of the things I really admire about Swashbuckling Bound is that it was a fully developed story that was carried out fully and in great detail. It was a lush world with sufficient things to hold my interest. The plot was wonderful as well. One could care about what was going on in the story. And that is rare these days. Great job! Stick with this basic plot construction and workflow, and you'll do well. I'm looking forward to seeing your new characters in action! |
