My recent venture into the comics arena isn't the first time that I've tackled the swashbuckling genre as a creative outlet. I thought some of you might find something of interest in my previous efforts.

Since the days of my student-past I have been a keen player of role-playing games (oh, the shame!). My preference always lent towards the drama of storytelling rather than the number crunching of dice rolls. I found a breath of fresh air in the '7th Sea' line of game products which were set in a fantasy version of 17th century Europe. A year or so ago I hung up my dice and started scribbling some short damsel-in-distress fiction. Never one to waste a good idea, I adapted some of my role-playing game logs into rough plots for these tales. They eventually found a home at 'Jeb's Adventure Bound' and I have placed the introductory chapters into our own Stories forum for your viewing.

Recently I started to play around with Poser and discovered that comic scripts take a hell of a lot less effort (although a completely new range of skills) than full blown prose. The rest, as they say, is history. You can see the fruits of my current labours every other Monday only here at HIP Comix.

series and their creators. i believe that one my favorite elements in your work is that it has a far
more literate flair versus traditional comic books.
