Post Who is "Dose"?
Coming soon to HIPComix... a great new artist codenamed "Dose"! I've seen some of his work in progress and I think you all are in for a treat. His debut is right around the corner. Don't miss it!

Thanks for the build-up, Doc.

Some of you may have seen my name around the forums. I wrote a few Pink Pussycat tales which you can find in the Stories forum. Finister was then kind enough to allow me to work with him on the scripts for the Pussycat's current 'Faces the Music' comic.

That was enough for me to catch the bug! It's going to be a slight change for me to be producing both images and words, but the HIP Powers That Be have put their faith in my efforts and I hope you'll all like the results.

We'll be visiting a genre that I have long loved: the swashbuckling renaissance era of musketeers and pirates. Plenty of opportunities for daring heroines and distressed damsels. The first update is tomorrow, May 1st.

Dose.

I'm really looking forward to this new series! This is a genre that has a great tradition and deserves a fresh take.

Have at 'em!
