I know this isn't really 'heroine' related, but which summer blockbuster are you more looking forwward to seeing? Superman Returns or X-Men: The Last Stand?

Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey) captures SuperGirl (Cameron Diaz) and something about a a round bar of kryptonite...

Oh, screw them both. I'm still waiting for the official movie adaptation of the best comic series alive, Doc Robo and Finister Foul's "Twisted Tales". Now who would we cast in those roles?...

... but, back to topic, I'm much more interested in X3. Why? Well, Hugh Jackman is awesome as Wolvie, Famke Jansen is hot as Pheonix, Patrick Stewart makes any movie 100% better, and it's a WAR this time. Oh, and I hate Superman with a passion... I mean, seriously, I loathe that boyscout. Any guy who has X-ray vision and doesn't exploit that power is automatically branded a loser in my book.

I have to point out the hypocrisy of ragging on Superman for not using his X-ray vision for 'nefarious' purposes yet giving Professor X a free pass when his primary superpower is mind control!

Who says Professor X isn't locking himself in that sphere room and 'probing' the minds of babes at the Playboy Mansion? :P

I agree about Superman - I never could get excited about him or his comicbook stories...although I thought the first Superman movie was great...mainly because of Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor...I thought he was a deliciously devious villain.

Ironically, I always found the X-Men comics to be boring as well (I collected Fantastic Four comics when I was a junior cartoon villain). But I really like the X-Men movies so far. I agree, Hugh Jackman is a perfect Wolverine. I still prefer Famke Janssen as the evil bitch in James Bond...gawd she was such a arousingly wicked bitch in that movie.

Hmmmm... a Twisted Tales movie...??

A blond Tom Hanks as Dr Twisted? HEY who threw the rotten tomato!?

Hmmm...how about Bruce Campbell (Army of Darkness/Evil Dead, etc) as Dr Twisted? :P

I think we had a "Twisted Tales" movie thread started before the big crash last December. We can always start it up again...
