TIGER DURGA: THE BANYAN WEDDING TAX
Calcutta, 1960 — A city of silk, smoke, and secrets.
INT. PUSHPA’S HOME – MORNING
Pushpa overhears gossip from neighborhood women about Banyan Mukherjee’s latest scheme — using weddings as cover for smuggling and extortion.
NEIGHBOR
They say Banyan’s men collect “donations” during the ceremony. Even the priests are in on it!
Pushpa’s eyes narrow.
She glances at the jar of enchanted ghee on her shelf.
PUSHPA
If evil hides behind garlands and music… then justice will crash the wedding.
She rubs the ghee onto her arms, legs, and chest. Her skin glows gold. Her hair wildens. Her voice deepens. Her body becomes voluptuous and gleaming as iher sari is replaced by a tiger pelt  top, tiger pelt skirt and brass bangles on her wrists.
TIGER DURGA
Calcutta’s heroine is ready for the ceremony.
EXT. TEMPLE COURTYARD – DAY

A lavish wedding unfolds — garlands, drums, silk saris, and anxious guests. Banyan’s men mingle among the crowd, collecting envelopes.
Tiger Durga bursts through the temple gates, barefoot and radiant.
TIGER DURGA
Stop the music! This wedding hides a crime!
Gasps ripple through the crowd. The bride drops her garland. The groom freezes.
BANYAN’S THUG
Get her out!
She fights — flipping over tables, scattering marigolds, knocking thugs into flower pots. But the priest strikes her with a brass tray. She staggers.
TIGER DURGA
Wait—did the priest just hit me? That’s… new.
Another blow lands on her chest. She gasps, dazed.
The groom grabs a ceremonial cloth soaked in perfume — presses it to her face.
TIGER DURGA
No… not the cloth… This is terrible timing…Jai Durga...My wide areolas...My huge nipples harden...My giant breasts are heavy...My head spins.
Her eyes roll upward. Her toes flex and relax. She collapses beside the sacred fire.
PRIEST
The ceremony continues. The goddess sleeps.

Music: a sweeping orchestral theme with tabla and sitar, alternating between triumph and tragedy.
1️⃣ EXT. TEMPLE COURTYARD – DAY – THE GOLDEN GARLAND WEDDING

A lavish ceremony unfolds under a canopy of marigolds. Banyan’s men carry flower baskets — each secretly filled with smuggled gold.
Tiger Durga bursts through the crowd, glowing gold herself.
TIGER DURGA
Stop the music! These flowers hide more than blessings!
She flips a basket — gold coins spill onto the floor. Gasps ripple through the guests.
BRIDE
You ruined my wedding!
TIGER DURGA
Correction — I saved your dowry!
She fights Banyan’s men — punches, spins, dramatic poses. But the furious bride grabs her heavy garland and swings it like a whip.
It hits Tiger Durga squarely across the head.
She freezes.
TIGER DURGA
Wait—did the bride just hit me? That’s… new...Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuh.
Her knees buckle. Her eyes flutter. She collapses into the flower petals — unconscious.
The priest resumes chanting as guests whisper.
2️⃣ INT. BANQUET HALL – EVENING – THE DOWRY HEIST WEDDING

A glittering reception. Banyan’s men sneak dowry jewels into a hidden chest.
Tiger Durga crashes through the doors, barefoot, bangles clinking.
TIGER DURGA
Dowry theft at a wedding? How very… unromantic.
She kicks the chest open — jewels scatter across the floor.
GROOM
You’re ruining everything!
TIGER DURGA
I’m improving the plot!
She fights — flipping tables, knocking thugs into trays of sweets. But the priest waves a smoking incense holder near her face.
PRIEST
Enough, goddess! Return to your shrine!
The thick smoke swirls around her. She coughs, staggers, eyes watering.
TIGER DURGA
This incense… is unusually aggressive…Jai Durga...becoming sleepy.
Her golden glow dims. She sways, then collapses beside the wedding cake.
Guests gasp.
PRIEST
She sleeps. The ceremony continues.
3️⃣ INT. PALACE HALL – NIGHT – THE CHANDELIER WEDDING

A royal wedding — chandeliers glitter, drums thunder. Banyan’s men exchange forged documents behind the altar.
Tiger Durga leaps from the balcony, landing in a perfect superhero pose.
TIGER DURGA
You forged love and law in the same ceremony! How poetic — and how illegal!
She fights under the chandeliers — dazzling, fierce, unstoppable. But one guard grabs a ceremonial staff and swings.
It strikes her across the chest.
She gasps, stumbling backward.
TIGER DURGA
Oof… that one had emotion behind it…
Another blow lands on her head. Her eyes roll upward. Her toes flex and relax. She collapses onto the marble floor, unconscious.
The chandelier above her sways gently — a silent applause for her fall.
4️⃣ EXT. CALCUTTA STREETS – DAWN – AFTERMATH

Tiger Durga walks barefoot through the mist, bruised but radiant. Her bangles glint under the rising sun.
TIGER DURGA (V.O.)
He spreads like roots beneath the city… But I’ll tear them out, one by one.
She looks toward Banyan’s mansion in the distance.
TIGER DURGA
And tomorrow… the Banyan Wedding Tax ends.
She disappears into the fog — the city trembling under Banyan’s shadow.

INT. BANYAN’S MANSION – NIGHT
Tiger Durga storms in, glowing gold, furious.
TIGER DURGA
Banyan Mukherjee! Your weddings are crimes dressed as celebrations!
Banyan sits calmly on his throne, cigar glowing.
BANYAN
Ah, Durga. You crash parties beautifully.
She charges. His thugs swarm her. She fights — fierce, dazzling, unstoppable — until a guard lands a head blow. Another strikes her chest. Her breath catches.
TIGER DURGA
This is extremely inconvenient… I just woke up from the last knockout…
Banyan rises, holding a white cloth.
BANYAN
You should rest, my dear. You’ve attended too many weddings.
He presses the cloth to her face.
Her eyes roll upward. Her toes flex and relax. Her golden glow fades.
TIGER DURGA
(whispering) I… rise… quickly…but...Jai Durga...Chloroform...too strong.
The big breasted Hindu strongwoman collapses on her back to the floor.
BANYAN
Yes. That’s why the game continues.
He gestures to his men.
BANYAN
Take her away. Leave her somewhere quiet. She’ll wake confused… and ready for another ceremony.
They carry her unconscious body out of the mansion.
Banyan turns to his statue of Durga.
BANYAN
Even goddesses need rest.
He exhales smoke, calm and victorious.
EXT. CALCUTTA RIVERBANK – DAWN
Tiger Durga lies among fallen marigolds, unconscious. The city wakes around her — trams clanging, bells ringing.
Her fingers twitch. Her toes flex. Her eyes flutter open.
TIGER DURGA (V.O.)
I rise quickly. It’s practically my trademark.
She sits up, bruised but defiant.
TIGER DURGA
Calcutta still needs its heroine. And Banyan still needs his reckoning.
She stands, golden light returning.
end
