Dressed in a loose fitting t-shirt and shorts, Doctor Josefina Montero sat cross-legged on a sofa in the living room of her mansion in the Campo Alegre district of Caracas, studying some documents sent to her by Venezuelan Police Chief CARLOS RODRIGUEZ. The 60-year-old police chief often sought Josefina's advice on crimes taling place in Venezuela,due to her being one of the country's top criminologists and leading female intellectuals. Josefina studied the reports from Chief Rodriguez about some petty crimes taking place in Caracas during the pandemic.

"These robberies are odd. The reports say there were no fingerprints anywhere at the crime scene, any cctv cameras present were not disabled but their footage gives no clue as to the identity of the robbers. The police are stretched to their limits with patrols in different parts of the city during the pandemic. Could this be some new scheme of the Megabande Cartel and El Coqui?
