Giant Girl and The Lost Continent The Caribbean Present day Midnight JACQUELINE JONES sighed as she stood on the starboard deck of a cruise ship. A 35 year old white redhead who was a librarian from New York, Jacqui had come on this singles cruise to find her dream guy. Jacqui would lose herself in this fantasy world for hours at a time. She wasn't looking forward to the rest of this cruise or going back to New York, with no family or friends waiting there for her. As those thoughts filled her mind, Jacqui felt a cool breeze wafting over the darkened waters of the ocean. She looked down and saw a whirpool forming in the ocean near the ship. " What's that?" wondered Jacqui as she climbed up on the railing and looked down at the rapidly forming whirlpool. She had no idea how high up on the railing she was, until she lost her balance and fell over. "NOOOOO...HEEEEEELP" cried Jacqui as she fell overboard, her arms and legs flailing helplessly in the air. As she landed in the water, Jacqui tried to swim but found herself being sucked into the rapid, swirling currents of the whirlpool. As mysteriously as it appeared, the whirlpool disappeared and the sea was calm again. "Uuuuuuuuuuuuh" groaned Jacqui. She opened her eyes and was surprised to find herself lying on a long stretch of white sandy beach. The 35 year old redhead surprised that she was wasn't dead. As she slowly stood up, her damp clothes clinging to her stocky, overweight frame, Jacqui began to doubt that. The sky was a different shade of blue that she had never seen before. The sun seemed to be a different location in the sky. Jacqui wandered along the beach, looking at dense jungle ahead of her and high mountain ranges located in the distance. It all seemed strange to her. But at the same time, it also felt familiar. Jacqui thought back to scenes she sketched for her comic books. "No way. This can't be happening. This can't be real" thought Jacqui. She was still thinking that thought when she felt sharp tingling sensations in her chest, then heard a loud roar coming from deep inside the jungle, followed by human screams of "HELP". "Sounds like someone's in trouble. But what can I do?" wondered the stocky, overweight redhead as she stood on the beach, hearing the roars and cries for help continuing. Then Jacqui thought back to her comic books and how familiar it all seemed. "It's not possible. It can't be...but" she thought and acted on an instinct. Concentrating, Jacqui closed her eyes felt a change coming over her. She felt her body reshaping itself. She felt herself becoming taller, shapelier, stronger and even younger. When she opened her eyes, she was no longer Jacqueline Jones. She now stood 1,000 feet tall, turned from Caucasian to Latina, her skin turning from pale white to shiny light brown.
