As he did so...the Kitu soldiers positioned along the battlements of El Dorado...ceased fire....allowing the Jaga tribe and their Amerindian allies to withdraw...after trying unsuccessfully to penetrate the defences of the City of Gold. The Kitu soldiers kept their golden spears...capable of firing energy bolts from their tips...aimed at the defeated Amerindian invaders as they retrieved their dead and wounded from the battlefield.



Back inside of the City of Gold....King Akala issued his decree to Jaguar Woman and her super powered friends....in the presence of his followers and his allies. "Make ready the great arena...A contest shall be held this day!!...The ones called Ocelot Girl and Panther Woman shall battle Dianna Rose and Hunter....the Ocelot Woman shall face my loyal sorceress Kula...and you Jaguar Woman shall face me in the final contest...I shall yield if I am defeated...but you and your allies shall be my slaves when I prevail...for I am...Akala!!!" declared the evil king and the soldiers cheered.



Jaguar Woman, Ocelot Woman, Ocelot Girl and Panther Woman were then escorted to the arena...under heavy guard. As the heroines were led away....King Akala and Kula shared knowing glances with each other...which they did not notice...but which did not escape the attention of Dianna and her sister...the Hunter. "This man is mad...He can't seriously be going through with this...I say we kill those super bitches now..." whispered Hunter to her sister. As the heroines were escorted under heavy guard towards the arena....they spoke about the tournament ahead. "Can you trust that madman to keep his word?" asked Panther Woman. Standing in his box high above the arena...King Akala bade his loyal Kitu soldiers to be silent as he announced the rules for the tournament which he agreed to on the challenge of Jaguar Woman. "Hear my words loyal followers!!...The battles in this arena shall be only for the combatants in the arena alone...No other shall interfere!!...There are no rules for combat...and the battle shall end when one of the combatants is unconscious...or the white cloth of submission is thrown forth into the arena...Let the first battle begin!!" declared Akala as he took his seat...and the sorceress Kula stood behind him to his right.



Gates opened on opposite sides of the arena. From the left side of the arena.....Ocelot Girl and Panther Woman entered the arena. While Ocelot Woman and Jaguar Woman...looked on with hope that Ocelot Girl and Panther Woman would prevail...while Akala began to wonder whether he made the right choice to have Dianna and Hunter represent him. Even with their fighting skills...Dianna and Hunter were at a disadvantage to Panther Woman and Ocelot Girl as they lacked super strength.
