Justice Minister Carlos Ramos entered his office...after returning from a meeting with Police Chief Arturo Gomez. Carlos remained concerned about the latest briefing from the Police Chief..who advised him that the police had still been unable to ascertain the whereabouts of his 24 year old executive assistant Maria Rosa. He was growing increasingly concerned that Maria might have been taken prisoner by the same criminals he was investigating. As he pondered these thoughts...a shiny CD on his desk...which he had never seen before caught his attention. Walking over to his DVD player..Carlos slipped the disc inside and switched on the TV monitor above it. He was startled by the images which appeared on the screen in front of him.

"All right...Here it is.." replied Carlos as he walked slowly towards the approaching man.

Blinded by the bright headlights from the car...Carlos did not see the thug walking towards him was slowly taking a silencer-tipped pistol out from under his jacket. "Yes..It must have been...Let's go officer.." said Carlos as he picked up the briefcase filled with ransom money and walked back towards the parked police squad cars. "We'll meet again Panther Woman...very soon" thought Carlos to himself.

Panther Woman alighted unseen on to the balcony of an apartment which belonged to her alter ego..Maria Rosa. "While I'm grateful for Panther Woman saving my life..and I'll admit she did help the police to make headway into locating the hideout where the children were being kept...I'm still not convinced she should be operating outside of regular law enforcement..also..you never told me what happened to you..between the airport and today..Where were you?" asked Carlos.

"Oh..Well..I was taken prisoner by those same thugs at the airport...they kept me drugged for a while..Panther Woman found me and took me home to recover...She told me about she saved you from being murdered at the Lima Cathedral last night.." replied Maria. She knew this story wasn't the truth..and the reality was that during the period which Carlos referred to..she was held captive by the criminals..as Panther Woman. Hearing it from Carlos...Maria was amazed to learn how long her captors had kept her subdued before she was able to get free and turn the tables on them.

"In any event...I think we can safely say this case is closed..now that the felons are in custody..thanks to Panther Woman.." said Maria. "I know you admire her for what she does...but this matter is far from closed Maria..." replied Carlos. "What do you mean Carlos?" asked Maria..trying not to be unduly alarmed by his words. "Chief Gomez says the men arrested at the beach villa and the one who tried to shoot me are low level criminals..their records show them incapable of planning such an elaborate scheme..This suggests that the real masterminds of this kidnapping operation remain at large..." said Carlos grimly.

"Then those kids could still be in danger..." said Maria. "That's right Maria..but knowing that we're aware of their intentions..the kidnappers might be more selective in their choices...with security being heightened around each of the victims..I'll be meeting with Chief Gomez to discuss the strategies to deal with it...I'll be gone for the rest of the day..in the meantime Maria..Can you just categorise the files of the kids who we think may be priority targets for the kidnappers?" asked Carlos as he packed up his briefcase. "You can rely on me Carlos.." said Maria with a smile as she took the files from her boss. "I never doubted that.." replied Carlos as he smiled back at her before leaving.

Taking the files back to her office located down the corridor from Carlos'...Maria did as she was instructed by her boss. However as she reviewed and categorised each of the files he gave her...one file in particular caught Maria's attention. "Pablo Ortega...15 years old...son of defence contractor Alejandro Ortega..." said Maria as she read the title on the file. She remembered Pablo being the one who's good intentions but untimely blunder..led to her being captured as Panther Woman. She also remembered that under the influence of a strange gas and some kind of hypnotic trance...Pablo had twice aroused her like no one else had ever done...until she passed out.

To the boy's credit...he also orchestrated her release. Maria checked her watch and looked at the other files before her.
