Hello to the HIPcomix awesome artists and writers,

Latif here. I decided last weekend to make a blog more dedicated to HIPcomix. My other blog at http://www.3dadultcomics.net/ , well, the top HUGE ad goes to your competitor's site (which I'm a huge fan of also and do VERY VERY well with).

It isn't 100% dedicated to HIPcomix (although I could make it that way). There are links on both sidebars, and at the bottom, to other adult comix sites.

If I asked you guys questions about your characters/stories/series to create blog posts (ie. content for my site), how would you feel about me using your quotes as content given that there are links to other comics paysites on the blog? Ambivalent? Ecstatic anyways 'cuz you guys don't seem to get much exposure?

'Cuz I might like to ask y'all questions, or I might like to use stuff you've written on the forums here to create posts for the blog.

Ok, I'm putting this in a separate post just to keep things neater.

DOC ROBO: On my new HIPcomix blog I basically completely used stuff you wrote here on the forum to create a blog post. I'm now officially asking your permission to quote you like I did.

I also have some attribution questions regarding the top ad there on the blog with 5 issue covers.

The 3rd, middle cover (Caper Cats): Is that another Doc Robo / Finister Foul collaboration?

The 5th cover (Mind Games): Is that all you Doc? Or is there another artist involved.


I only have received permission from the following artists/writers to use their 'Free Area' material: Doc Robo, Finister, Jpeger, Badaboom, Timo, Max. So I have refrained from and don't want to accidentally post anyone's elses material. (Well honestly I just wanted to get the attributions right. But I sure would like to get permission from the other artists to post some of their AWESOME stuff.)

As a final side note, the blog hasn't been submitted anywhere yet so it isn't "live" at the moment anyways.

"Caper Cats" was a Finister Foul solo project.

"Mind Games" was writted by yours truly, illustrated by Finister. It is actually episode two of "Twisted Tales" (if that makes a difference).

I'm not as concerned about sharing our news with that of other adult sites. In fact, it places the work of our artists in the best possible light. Let the public see and they'll make their choice. And the public demands quality and volume, both of which HIPComix provides!

Uhm... well this blog got started about 3 months ago, but you've revived a dead thread.

The blog unfortunately does not receive too much traffic at the moment. Also... it's in DIRE NEED of a facelift.

HIPcomix has a good mention of course, and will be one of the "Featured Site of the Moment" (ie. prominent feature on main page). Maybe even the very first one.

Nah, there's not much there at the moment. The directory is a long long-term project, and needs site submissions from others (those sites listed are mostly mine or sites I promote). I'll be soliciting site submissions soon on some adult webmaster boards.

I was browsing through and there seems to be a rise of gay stuff, dickgirls, etc. This is the trend for the future do you think ?

I don't know mate but there's for sure a lot of demand for it. Especially the dickgirls stuff - shemale / 'futanari' hentai. (Futanari is a bit different from shemale - 'futa girls' have both sets of sex organs - cocks and pussies! Futanari is a Japanese term.)

Gay comics and gay hentai (yaoi) - there's a pretty big demand for that too, although not as big (for me) as shemale / futanari.

HIPcomix wouldn't go wrong to have a gay or shemale artist in my opinion.

I also found a link to some of Bill Ward's stuff here. I thought I could mention him because he died in 1988. He did Captain Marvel and Blackhawk comics in the 1950's. His later work almost got blacklisted for being too pornographic. I'm sure he would have embraced modern technology because he had to hand draw the 7 black hawk characters on every page which must have been very tiring.

Unfortunately I tend to not have the time / energy to get more than just a superficial look at the sites I promote (including HIPcomix).

I'm being superficial too. I've never seen his Captain Marvel stuff but I'd like too. I'm just re sighting stuff that I've just read. There's an artist named Biker and he's quite famous online as a sexy pencil artist. He mentioned one of his main influences was Bill Ward, and he often says he'd wished he'd been born fifty years earlier so he could have been part of that 50's pinup era.
Subscribers to HIPcomix may find this stuff is old fashioned, tame or whatever. However, I still like the high heels and the skirts flying up kinda stuff.
