Post No Advertising in this forum!
There have been a large number of unwelcome off topic posts that have been nothing more than crude advertisements. Such posts to the forum are unacceptable and will be removed at once!

For those of you who think that spamming this forum is acceptable, go away now. If you have nothing to say about the artists or the projects we're working on, you have no right to expect that we're going to look at your web links.

This is the final warning. All spam messages will be removed and all responsible parties who do this more than once will have their accounts removed.

Post Re: Don't spread spam in this forum!
Take a look at the topic "What do you think" by mikeekim in the General Discussions. First, the link there tries to upload something which my security managed to intercept. Then my browser seemed to be locked up for a while, but the 'three finger salute' was able to ge me out of it.

This is certainly an unwelcome post; 86 this guy.

For now, all I can do is remove the post. Doc Robo and Jpeger have that level of power in the forum. When the Doc takes his break, I will take full control over such situations at that point.

So, until then, report the name of the offending party to Doc Robo if it happens again.

I deleted the entire thread. Hopefully it won't cause any more trouble.

user OOAEWIW72 seems to be spamming the forum.

Though to be fair i'm not sure what can be done. Even if you delete the account they can just make a new one and do it again?

It is not a real user, just a bot designed to post comments using key words it reads to make it look a little bit like a real person and then it posts links to spy ware, porn, sales sites, etc.
