Good start to this tale. Like the character and the dialogue story is very "noir"
I will be avidly awaiting what comes next.

"What Dreams May Come" was a great story. I hope we will see more adventures of Betty Noir.

If you don't mind a suggestion: how about Betty investigating a white slavery ring? Of course, she gets captured by the slavers and is in for a tough time for a while.

p.s. And now for a negative note; the explosion in picture 51 is not too good, not believable. Because of the quality of the rest of the story, I am sure you, as the artist, are aware of this.

I hope you don't mind my criticism of this one frame. All the rest are good.

I took some creative license with the explosion in Betty 5. Actually it took quite some time, in that I did it all by hand without having to resort to an explosion prop (which I had). Now that I look at it again I see where I just didn't take enough time in postwork with it. Sorry. These deadlines can be maddening.

Anyway in response to your idea, actually the caribbean villians DO run a white slavery ring and Betty gets caught up in it. It should be interesting to see how she escapes... or not...
