Marvlin of Re-Program, he had some great stuff. Tried to make a go at a pay site, but real life got in the way.

He started up again, but not much has happened since.

Marvlin is a great artist, especially in the field of mind control. He would make a fine addition to the roster. I have chatted with him in the past, perhaps I can talk to him again and see what he has to say...

While I doubt anyone here has seen any of Mizog's work, he or she has posted one contribution to the Guests gallery at SHC. If anyone knows this artist. a website link other than the guest page at SHC would be nice.

If anyone is interested, let me know, and I can start you off in a free gallery, and if we can reach an agreement, I'm still looking for artists. I would eventually like to move to a daily posting schedule. We still have slots available.

I've been looking over my picture files and considering this question. Most, if not all, of the artists I would like to see here are already involved in some other pay site.

BUT, how about Dr. Droid? He's got some great characters and makes great covers. Now, if he can do a complete story...

I don't think he is associated with any pay site now.

it is a little bit difficult for professionals to
get excited about our site. the usual business
model for artists involves opening their own site,
and selling their services to porn sites. maybe
do a bit of retail sales of products as well.

we just finished a lengthy conversation with the
artist known as succubusnation, but that artist,
like everyone else that i know of, has a lot of
irons in the fire.

No, you're thinking of the same guy. He's big into the heroine-in-peril scene, with a little mind control and techno fetish to boot. I used to communicate with him on occasion, but I haven't heard from him in months if not years. I'll sift through my email archives and see if I can dig up any contact information for him. He would be a great addition to the crew, if he is so inclined...

If I recall, Doctor Droid had a pretty nice little group going at Yahoo groups that he shut down last year; haven't heard of him since. I seem to recall him stating that he wasn't interested in joining a paysite, as I'm sure he had been asked several times.

I'm getting a file not found.

Is anyone else having problems with the link I posted? I dont have any problems at all when clicking on it. Not sure why you are getting a file not found error. Try this instead:

I think the server went down for a bit yesterday, I thought it was a file not found, but it was a DNS or server not found error. Later on in the day it came back up but it was slow. Now it appears OK.

That is exactly the artist I was talking about.

Incidently, the droidzone has been re-opened again, with a few new pictures and some of the old bad links fixed.

Actually, I just heard from him yesterday. Unfortunately he doesn't have a lot of free time these days, so he had to politely decline. He definitely showed some interest, though. Hopefully things will work out someday and he'll be able to join up with us.

Des mentioned your forum here. I hadn't been here before apparently. I remember the Yahoo group (it still ongoing?), but hadn't realized you had such an active forum here. Very nice.

Thought I'd address a couple of honest misunderstandings mentioned here:

1. Tania is me lovely wife, not girlfriend. She writes many of the stories, and yes, Ultra Woman is based greatly on her. She's my inspiration, even if she doesn't approve of all the situations I pose her Ultra Woman in. Heh.

2. I didn't close my Yahoo group, Yahoo did. Without warning, of course, and with no explanation. We wrote them repeatedly, and on the third email we received a reply. It was a mealy-mouth pile of babble about unspecified breaking of the Terms. Nothing specific was mentioned. I did get another Yahoo ID, simply because there's so many great groups still in existence that I want to visit. For now.

3. Droidzone: I am no webmaster so you can bet your life there's plenty of bad links. Heh. Just point them out and I'll try to get them fixed. Also, Super's server is free and unsupported by any pay sites. He supports it out of his own pocket. He now has a donation button, but I'm sure most of the cost for the site will come out of his own pocket. So, if the site is a little flaky now and then, remember it's free.

4. One poster is right, I don't do stories well. I find them actually boring. The action scenes are great, but creating all the setup scenes in Poser bores me to death. I can do it, done it before, just haven't had the desire to do it again. Had a half-finish Global Protectors story, and have a partly finished Ultra Woman story around here somewhere. I believe I'm good at one-shot peril scenes, but long stories make my eyes bleed. Heh. I might do some stories in the right situation, just haven't come across the right situation in a while.
