I just had a thought. OK - it wasn't the first one today... that involved me, Pink Pussycat, a tub of Jello, and a chicken... don't ask.

Anyway... we artists sometimes have extra pictures that are good but somehow don't make it into the comic we're working on. Maybe the camera was set on the wrong person, but it came out cool anyway, or the lighting wasn't quite right, or the expression was wrong...
Anyway most of these hit the cutting room floor, but some of them are cool in their own right. I call them out-takes and stick them in a folder for later retrieval. When I get a bunch of these built up I go through them and think of something completely wierd for the characters to say. It usually comes out pretty funny. I have put a couple of thes pics in this free gallery of mine here:

I've created my own section for this stuff. Maybe we could have a gallery like that where everybody could contribute to. I think it would be a gas. We might even get artists that are creating stuff just for that gallery.

Sometimes when I have a couple shots of a scene that just doesn't work...I'll throw the pictures on some security monitor or TV screen in the actual comic pages.

I was wondering what that picture was about. Lol. I just saw a thumbnail and the tagline and was thinking "er, okay, Finister's gone off the deep end...", but in context, that's hilarious!
