Valiant Grrl, hands down. I love strong, sexy brunettes and, besides, she was the first to submit to hypnotic control, has been in "action" (heh heh) the longest, proved bisexual, and generally has the worst luck of all the fembots so far in terms of having her mind controlled, uncontrolled, recontrolled, re-recontrolled, etc. Yep, she's a keeper.

 tossup for me
For me, its a tossup between Marcy Smith and Sugarbot. Love the secretary outfit and Marcy' fun. I guess Amrcy just wins out for me.

 favorite
I'm not sure what my favorite is. I guess that would be like choosing a favorite child. I will say that I am a big fan of Marcy's 'robot' costume, though...

11 votes. Not bad, but we could do better, especially since there are hundreds of members of HIPComix and the forums. Anyone else have any opinions?

For those who are not members and have not seen every character, I have uploaded a couple of 'portraits' of each into my free area gallery. Enjoy!

I like them all, but I really want to see Belinda get what coming to her. Seeing her in a mind outfit and turn her into robot excite me. I would like to see how Dr. Twisted turn her into a robot.

Thanks Vohn! First, welcome to the HIPComix forums. Second, there will be plenty of action in the remaining "Hostile Takeover" updates. Without giving anything away, I can say that I don't think you'll be disappointed.

 re: new poll
Although Marcy and Sugarbot are my favorite, I really, really like Belinda and Mechana-I think they make a great couple and I hope that no matter what happens, they stay together, one way or another.

 Re: re: new poll
I've been happy with how they've turned out. I sort of look at them as a bisexual Mutt and Jeff, if Mutt was an evil scientist and Jeff was an Amazonian fembot.
Belinda and Mechana will always be linked together. Hell, Mechana has part of Belinda's intellect and personality inside her!

Hey Doc Robo
Im in - it has to be Valient Girl as I luuurve her. Especially with white eyes
Now I'm registered. Ho ho.
As you may have guessed, the white eyes robotised yes master thing is very mch my bag, althogh just personally not so keen on the cybrog thing. Reminds me a little of the Borg, which creeps me out a little. What's happened to Belinda just now reminds me a little of that sequence towarsd the end of Superman 3 - I just wish it had happened to Pamela Stepenson rather than that old bag whose name escapes
me!!
Did I mention I like white eyes.

I'll be the first to admit that the robotization scene in Supermen III haunted me as a kid because of its inherent creepiness. When I got older I realized (much as you have) that the scene would have been infinitely better if Lorelai had been the subject instead of Vera. Consider this my attempt to make it right.
I'm glad to see that you signed up to the messageboards. It's always nice to have someone new to discuss with. Welcome to the club!

Its good to be onboard. Too many years of hiding the fetish - admitted to a friend and she turned me on to the boards. So here I am.
As with many, my first experience was Superfriends 'Mind Maidens.'
Did you consciously decide to go down a different route with Belinda ? Brog always creeped me out, and I have to say the second series of Doctor Who with the Cyber-conversion of the Jackie character really turned me off the mechanisation angle.
Although nice blank eye sequence earlier in the episode - so few actresses can pull off that unblinking stare straight ahead when turning direction. Little things eh.....
That animation would be perfect if the eyes were white. Wonder why its that, the robotic monotone and the word Master that really clicked with me. Given up trying to work it out.
Not in any way wishing to shape your intentions, but seeing all the girls in sexy lingerie (I like that kid of better than nude, but who can argue with those fantastic TITS!!!!!!!) and white eyes (sorry, one track mind!!) - I'd paper my flat with that. Well maybe not, but you get the idea.
I do some drawing in my spare time. I'm not great, but I thought I might have a bash at Valient Grrl if you don't mind, send you the results see what you think.

I did purposely go with a different method for Belinda. I wanted her to appear more sinister and scary than the pervious incarnations. Perhaps it worked a little better than intended...?
I'll do you one better. Why not sign up for the HIPComix free guest gallery and post your drawings there? That way everyone can see your talents!

Not that confident - I've never really published any of my stuff. I've just kind of switched from writing to the comic strip medim. Strictly amateur, me.
I see why you went with the decision on Belinda - it does give Sentius more of an edge as a third player in the original triangle - kind of the same way the Borg had a more personal edge with first Locutus. Takingsomeone with a strong will and reducing them to a mere tool is sisnister and sexy (but only if its a hot babe).
But now Belinda is reprogrammed I worry about the fate of my beloved Valient Grrl.
It'll be interesting to see where this goes - I like the twists (pun intended) you've come up with and how you're creating a coherent 'universe'.
One question - I love the pics you throw in to the previews, but why do some of them not materilaise ? I loved the Marcy Smith one when she's a white eye hottie in her suit, and obviously the Belinda the Maid but they didn't feature in the story. A cunning double bluff perhaps ?

Thanks! That's been by far the most fun part of the job. Finister came up with the concept of "Metrobay" in his own Pink Pussycat stories and I just expanded upon it for the Twisted Tales series. I'm glad it's been at least somewhat coherent.
Some of the sample images are just ideas that Finister and I brainstorm while we are working on the comics. He might whip up a test render of a concept just to let me see what it looks like. They're not meant to deceive, they're just pictures that I thought you all might like to see. Sorry if they caused any confusion.

Heh - I like everything you guys come up with. Pitiful specimen that I am, I now have RoboGrll on my desktop - something nice to look at as I switch on my PC.
Nearly finished my pic - hope you like it. I'll get it scanned and into a usable format as I'm still big on pen and ink. Very taken with the character of Valient Grrl, there's something about her mix of physical strength and naivety that speaks to a character with a lot of potential I think. I'm writing a spec script to send to you., Maybe you could use elements of it and bring it more into the Metrobay Universe. Like yourself I sometimes lose sight of the erotic in favour of the MC.
Also managed to get hold of Poser. Will e-mail by first results if you like.
Anyway, hope you are well. As always looking forward to Thursdays update.

Now THAT's dedication. I'm flattered!
I am looking forward to seeing your art be it hand-drawn or rendered. I always enjoy seeing other people's impressions of our characters, like those drawings by my friend Suechan in the free area. I have a feeling it's going to be great.
Look for an update message on Thursday!

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Really appreciate it!!!!!
But just so you know, I'm writing Valient Grrl as straight, not bi. The lesbianism angle just doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.
Expect some stuff by the weekend - I'll e-mail it to you direct.
