Now up for members, the next installment of Legion of Superheroines!

Sparrow, Scarlet Lotus, and Tempest continue their alliance with Adrienne's Lambda team, and attempt to break into Cyren's headquarters and free the captive heroines and Lambda's missing agent Echo. Cyren protects her base with a "psionic inhibitor" to prevent her victims from escaping by using their powers, so Adrienne, Yvette and the Electra android attempt to shut it down to allow Sparrow's team to locate and break out the heroines. Things don't go quite according to plan however, as the Lambda team finds Echo, but getting her out proves to be more difficult then the anticipated. Meanwhile, Sparrow, Scarlet Lotus and Tempest manage to find some of their missing teammates chained in a dungeon, but without their powers do the heroines even stand a chance? Find out in Issue 19 of Legion of Superheroines!

man o man ! A really great update ! This series has to be some of your very best work so far! I certainly wish you were updating more often...(sigh)...

And thanks for the incredible pin-ups in your previews gallery...i love the
baroque costuming...is this a hint of things coming our way ?

I second the "great update" comment. Very well done!

I also wondered if the baroque restylings are a hint of things to come. Everyone looked great filling out their new threads...but once again Scarlet Lotus steals the show. That's no small feat when my all time fav Ms Proctor is in the running. But...SCARLET LOTUS...WOW!

Hi Uroboros, I only want to comment you that for a tale called "Last Stand" and a cover where Cyren is sweeping the floor with Scarlet Lotus, Sparrow and Tempest, the story was only the setup.
I want to tell you that Arie... No, Tempest it's my favorite character in all HipComix. She is a true blue super villaines, with a cool origin and a great motivation: ("I was the sidekick"). She is really deserving to be Supe... er, Red Venus Archnemesis.

Somehow, I don't think that Cyren could defeat Tempest as easily as the cover show us... I think Tempest could find a way to turn the tables on her just like she did with Nemesis.

I'm anxious to see the next issue!

PD: My favorite bonus pictures were from Black Dahlia in bounds, altough I liked the "baroque" outfits a lot.

Yeah, the cover was intentionally a bit of a teaser (a great comic tradition.) You have to remember that even Tempest can't use her powers in Cyren's base; she's also more than a little unpredictable...as you'll see in the next issue! :D
